Twenty-six Martyrs of Japanとは
Twenty-six Martyrs of Japan or "日本二十六聖人" refers to a group of Christians who were executed by crucifixion in 1597 at Nagasaki. A monument dedicated to the Martyrs is a very popular seensight in Nagasaki for Christians. Although the monument stands near the Nagasaki Station, little visitors can find the place.
